Budget Menu – What spending could the government consider cutting?

I have contributed a piece for Conservative Home’s series of columns on the forthcoming Budget, on 8 March, looking at a menu of possible savings in spending that could be made, in order to give Theresa May’s government extra financial headway for its priorities – whether that is alleviating pressure on social care, or easing the brunt of new changes to Business Rates.
