The blight of illegally moored boats has long been a frustration for many Elmbridge residents, particularly those living along the River Thames in Molesey. This problem has been getting worse, and it is time to tackle it.
The new Conservative Government will be delivering on its pledges to increase schools funding by providing schools with an additional £14bn across three years, the largest funding boost in a decade. Next year – 2020/21 – this will mean a £2.6bn increase to core schools funding.

On Friday, I visited Sight for Surrey’s Hearing and Sight mobile bus when it was visiting Walton Day Centre. The bus is kitted out to help, advise and support the deaf and blind overcome daily challenges that they may face, so they can reach their full potential.
Today I visited St Alban’s Catholic Primary School in East Molesey. I talked to pupils during their assembly about my role as an MP locally and at Westminster.
On Saturday, I attended another successful Walton Heritage Day organised by Walton on Thames Trading Alliance (WoTTA). WoTTA do a great job running local community events throughout the year to promote Walton-on-Thames.
Today I met with Dr Russell Hills, Chair of Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), who are responsible for commissioning a range of healthcare services for patients in Esher, Claygate, Cobham, Oxshott and Molesey.
