Further to my letter to Elmbridge Borough Council last week asking that the June 2020 audit regarding community centres be released, I have now received a response from the Leader of the Council refusing to release this report.

On 7th February, the Lib Dem run Cabinet at Elmbridge Borough Council are due to vote on a proposal from ‘Vital Village’ to take over the management of Thames Ditton Centre for the Community. This proposal does not include any provision for Dementia Services which operate out of the centre.
I was recently down in St John’s in Walton to help clean up the green on St John’s Drive. I know there has been an ongoing issue with litter in this area, so I have been in contact with PA Housing to ensure they keep on top of emptying the bins and clearing up the area.
This conservative government has set out a clear plan to get 3.5 million people across the country active by 2030, including one million young people. It is important that people of all ages have access to high-quality sports facilities to stay active and healthy.
